    Hayden started in go karts at the age of 6 and moved into Late models at the age of 12. He is now 18 years old.

    Papa

    Tommy is no stranger to racing. He has been around racing for more than 55 years several of which he raced at the local tracks. North Ga Speedway, Sugar Creek, Cleveland and Boyd’s. He now does most of the work on his grandson Hayden’s racecar.

  • Karen

    Mom

    Karen is also no stranger to racing. As the daughter of Tommy she spent every weekend helping her father at the track and at the age of 16 started driving in the powder puff class where she won three championships. Now she loves helping her son on the weekends.

    Step dad

    Growing up around motorcycles Tim married into a new type of racing. Now he loves to help and support Hayden with his racing career and dreams

  • The Team

    During the week Papa maintains Hayden’s race car. He checks everything on the car and does all the body and mechanic work. Nights and weekends when Hayden gets off work is the time he puts in on the car and come race day we all have our responsibilities for the night. This team gets is done!

Meet “Hurricane” Hayden Swaney

Hayden Swaney is a 19-year-old driver from Chatsworth ga. his racing career started when he was six years old starting in go karts. right from the start he was awarded the name of hurricane Hayden Swaney. for the next six years Hayden won six championships in maxis southeastern dirt series. Won wka at Daytona international speedway. at the age of twelve Hayden got his first late model race car. during his first full year in the late model, he finished fourth in the points championship at dixie speedway in the 602 class. Hayden has gone on to win the points championship at Boyd’s speedway. fourth place finish at the Bristol dirt nationals and the 2-time winner of the Bama brawl at fort Payne speedway.

Hayden comes from a long line of family racers. he is actually a 3rd generation racer. his grandfather (tommy Morris) drove for many years along with his mother (Karen Mitchell) who drove in the powder puff class. His great uncle Winford Morris is well known for his racing career and building race chassis’, other family racers are Steve Morris and Rodney weeks. It is in his blood to race, and he works hard to live his dreams.

Hayden’s career goals are to keep pushing forward in his racing career. Win the 602 red clay series championship. win as many races as he can and enjoy time with his supporters and fans.
